The Afromusic Festival, second edition, showcased Black artists and bands from the independent scene. The project was recorded, due to the pandemic, and aired over three nights in April 2021.
The festival's program featured the original work of Izzy Gordon, Jup do Bairro, Fabriccio, Renato Gama, and Gê de Lima, among others. It also included interviews with Black intellectuals who conceptualized the question: "Does Music Have a Color?"
This project is presented by: Ministry of Tourism, Special Secretariat of Culture, Aldir Blanc Law and Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy and through the PROAC Expresso Aldir Blanc Law Notice No. 40/2020 and had the support of the Container Theater.
