The TV series "Notícias Populares" is a Brazilian production that recreates the behind-the-scenes of the sensationalist São Paulo newspaper of the same name, which circulated from 1963 to 2001. Created by André Barcinski and Marcelo Caetano, the 7-episode series takes place in the 90s and follows the journey of Paloma (Luciana Paes), a serious journalist who must deal with the unconventional methods of her new colleagues in a chaotic newsroom. The production was broadcast on Canal Brasil and is available on Globoplay.
